  • Everyone is invited to join us as Milan Elementary School honors our top students during the annual Awards Day ceremonies on Thursday, May 21

    All programs will feature Outstanding Citizen Awards, Perfect Attendance, Outstanding Attendance and recognition of the May “Model Student” Award recipients.  The older grades will also be recognizing their Ambassadors and Grades 3, 4 and 5 will include recognition of students who made the honor roll every grading period during the 2014-15 school year.  Individual grades may also have some special awards specific to their grade level.

    The schedule is as follows:

              Grade 1 – 8:30 a.m.                              Grade 2 – 9:00 a.m.

              Kindergarten – 9:30 a.m.                        Grade 3 – 10:00 a.m.

              Grade 4 – 10:30 a.m.                            Grade 5 – 11:30 a.m.


    Ms. Marietta has announced the schedule for our annual Spring Swim Races

    The students look forward to the excitement and friendly competition of our swim races and we know parents look forward to seeing how much their child’s swimming skills have improved so, if you’d like to make arrangements to be with us, the schedule is as follows:

              Friday, May 22:                  Grade 3 at 9:00 a.m.                    Grade 2 at 12:30 p.m.

              Tuesday, May 26:               Grade 4 at 9:00 a.m.                    Grade 1 at 1:00 p.m.

              Wednesday, May 27:           Grade 5 at 9:00 a.m.
  • Welcome to Milan Elementary School. We are happy to have you as part of the Milan family. Our mission is to help every child learn and grow to reach his/her fullest potential. Just like we say in our student pledge every morning, “I came to school to learn, and I will learn.”

    We have high expectations for Milan Elementary students. Our students are well-behaved, study hard, and treat others and our property with respect. We actively seek family support as we work together teaching lifelong learning skills to our future leaders.

    We welcome your participation and support. Working together, we will be able to reach our goals.
  • Book Fees have been established for the 2014-2015 school year and should be paid before school starts if at all possible. The ideal time to pay book fees and deposit money into your child's lunch account would be during "Meet The Teacher" Night on Monday, August 4. For your convenience we will have booths set up in the gym beginning at 5:00 p.m. where you can take care of these back-to-school chores. Application forms for lunch and book fee assistance will also be available at this time. Kindergarten fees may be paid during orientation earlier that day at 1:00 p.m.

    2014-2015 fees are as follows:
    • Kindergarten - $98.00
    • Grade 1 - $109.50
    • Grade 2 - $106.00
    • Grade 3 - $ 83.50
    • Grade 4 - $ 80.00
    • Grade 5 - $ 78.00

    Please make checks payable to Milan Elementary School. Although book fees and lunch deposits must be made separately, you are encouraged to combine book fees for all children into one check and lunch deposits for the family into another check.
